Aim & Objective

Our Aim

Prepare graduate nurses who can make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights and facilitate individuals and groups in pursuit of health, function in the hospital, community nursing services, and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice. And also expected to assume the role of teacher, supervisor and manager in a clinical/public health setting.

Our Objective

On completion of the programme, the Graduate nurse will be

  • Professionally competent to provide optimum health care services to all people irrespective of race, color, caste and creed regardless of socio-economic status.
  • Competent in the skills and techniques in nursing based on concepts and scientific principles.
  • Seeking opportunities for continuous growth for individual and for the benefit of family, community and whole nation.
  • Capable of leadership and supervisory roles in teaching and practices in health care settings as well as in the community.
  • Practicing moral and ethical values in personal and professional life.
